I am an Eagle Scout that enjoys anything outdoors, and Lonesome Dove is the best movie ever.

Something you may not know about me . . .

I have been brought back from the dead (yes, really)! I was in the ER following a car accident and had to be resuscitated after I flat lined.

What is the best part about what you do?

Getting to interact with a lot of different people. Whether it’s on the customer side, the vendor side or internal to Cape – I enjoy meeting and working with new people.

What can clients expect when they work with you?

I work to remain positive and always be a solution for the customer. There are people you encounter in your career who make difficult situations seem less difficult with a positive attitude and a ‘let’s get it done’ mentality. I enjoy working with those type people and try to model my approach to our work by their example. Being positive and simply putting in the work goes a long way.

I’m a small town girl (raised on a farm, town of 3,600, I love local sports, country music and county fairs). The ‘big city’ is fun to visit – but, I always appreciate the simplicity of home.

My customers can expect a can do positive attitude with a truthful solution to their question or project related request. I will also take ownership over a task or situation and see that it is resolved to our mutual benefit.

I enjoy the outdoors – hunting, fishing, trapping, camping along with attending college football games across the country during the fall with my wife Kristina.

I started working for Cape Electrical Supply in 2004, and I joined our CES Integration division in 2007.

What is the best part about what you do?

The best part of my job is that I get to work with our clients’ firsthand, on a daily basis, and help them with any requests or problems/issues that arise on their projects. It’s a rewarding experience to help them find solutions, and to see it through from start to finish.

What can clients expect when they work with you?

Our clients can expect to get a hard worker they can trust and depend on to help them with any task at hand. I take pride in listening to their needs, and working hard to do a job well done, in hopes that it makes it easier for them in the long run.

I like spending time with my family, outdoors (whether we’re fishing, hiking, camping, etc----just being outside and enjoying their company).

What is the best part about what you do?

Working with my team. I’ve had the pleasure of hiring every member of my team, all of which are still with me today! Every one of them are very talented individuals and care about our great customers and the service that we provide for them. It makes me extremely proud to see how far they have come and how motivated and positive they all are every single day.

What can clients expect when they work with you?

Honesty – I will never tell them something false just to write an order. I understand that our customers have a tremendous amount riding on the information I give to them, whether it be pricing, lead time, etc., so to create and maintain a great working relationship, honesty has to be the foundation.

Determination – I refuse to let anyone out work me if I can help it. I am determined to earn and win every piece of business that I can.

Tenacity – I never give up on an opportunity. I am just as interested in learning about orders that we have lost as orders we have written so that we are better prepared for the next opportunity.

Something you may be surprised to learn about me . . .

My 2 passions in life are my family and bow hunting! I am lucky enough to have a beautiful wife who is also addicted to hunting, and our oldest of 3 daughters is already starting to show interest as well! Spending time with my girls on our family farm is as good as it gets for me!

What is the best part about what you do?

The Variety. No two days are ever the same in the CESI World… One day you might be working on a large bid proposal in Pennsylvania, the next day you might be expediting material to Hawaii. Every day is different, presenting new challenges and opportunities.

Honesty & Communication. In this industry, you have to know who you can trust. Therefore, I strive to provide our clients with the most accurate and up-to-date information at all times. Whether it be during the quote or order process, I let them know our capabilities (and yes, limitations) so they can plan ahead, make good decisions and get the job done!
